Clean&simple with Penguin Palace

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a clean&simple card with the new release from Penguin Palace. My card features the The Sweetest Truck stamp set, the coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts and the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlay Dies.

First I die cut white cardstock with the largest die from the Dots Meet Dashes dies. Then, I stamped out my images on Neenah cardstock, cut them out with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts and colored them in with my Copics. I added highlight with a white gel pen.

Next, I created my background with the die cut portion. I masked a frame with purple tape and ink blended mustard seed, spiced marmelade and mowed lawn Distress Inks. These colors fit perfectly to my colored images.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with VersaMark on black cardstock, embossed it with white embossing powder and die cut it with a small banner die.

Then, I assembled my card. I used foam tape to adhere the images for more dimension on my card. Since I was still missing something on my card, I stamped the tiny stars and the little heart with mowed lawn and spiced marmelade Distress Inks onto my card. Also, I added Glossy Accents over the windows of the truck.

Party with Penguin Palace Stamps

Hi, everyone!

Today I'm sharing this new card I made using the Fun Night Out stamps and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts from Penguin Palace. I also used Cross Stitched and Dots Small Rectangle Overlay Dies, Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlay Dies, Home Sweet Home Die and Cyber Wallpaper stencil.

I started by stamping out the cute images and colored them in with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator. I die cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts and added highlights with a white gel pen.

Next, I cut white cardstock to size for my card base and the card panel. Then I used the rectangle overlay dies to die cut a frame. I had the idea that my scene should represent a disco from inside. Therefore I die cut a background with the Home Sweet Home die.

Then, I did some ink blending. For the background which you can see through the windows I ink blended chipped saphire Distress Ink and splattered gold ink for the stars over it. For the wall inside the disco I ink blended victorian velvet Distress Oxide Ink over the Cyber Wallpaper stencil. I chose tumbled glass Distress Ink for the floor.

Next, I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark and embossed ith with white embossing powder on dark blue cardstock.

To finish off, I assembled my card. I adhered my images with foam tape and liquid glue to create dimension.

Foiling with Penguin Palace Stamps

Hi, everyone!

Today I'm sharing this new card I made using the Rabbit Cafe and Penguin Perfect Cuts from Penguin Palace. I also used the pretty Rain of Hearts stencil and Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlays and the Small Rectangle Overlays stand-alone dies.

I started by stamping out the images and colored them in with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator. I die cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts and added highlights with a white gel pen.

Next, I cut white cardstock to size for my card base. Then I used 3 different dies from the stand-alone dies and pattern paper for 2 layers and white cardstock for the third layer. I took the third white layer and the stencil and blend VersaMark over it. Next I embossed this with Bonding Powder and foiled it with WOW Fab Foil. I love the effect!

I glued the 3 layers to my card base and stamped the sentiment on a piece of the pattern paper.

To finish off, I adhered all the sweet girl, the clouds and the sentiment with foam tape. I just love my card and I hope you too!

PENGUIN PALACE - Shake It Off!

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a card with the latest release from Penguin Palace. I used Cyber Wallpaper - Penguin Perfect Patterns Designer Stencil and the Fun Night Out stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I cut my card panel and took the Cyber Wallpaper stencil. I ink blended VersaMark ink over the top and embossed it with WOW embossing powder. It has such a glamorous look!

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and added highlights with a white gel pen. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

For the sentiment I chose a grey ink which fits perfect to the grey cat. I love that there's a coordinating die for the "SHAKE"!

I adhered all images with foam tape. To finish off, I added Wink of Stella over the mirror ball.

DT Cards und More - Tschüss und auf Wiedersehen!

Heute zeige ich euch meine letzte Karte für Cards und More!
Today I'm sharing my last card for Cards und More!

Aufgrund eines sehr großen Eingriffs und eine lange Rekonvaleszenz, muss ich meine Design Team Tätigkeiten reduzieren. Dies hat zur Folge, dass ich das DT für Cards und More beende.
Ich bedanke mich ganz herzlich bei Dunja und dem gesamten Cards und More DT für die schöne Zeit!
Due to a large surgery and a long convalescence, I have to reduce my design team activities. As a result, I finish the DT for Cards and More.

So, jetzt aber zu meiner heutigen Karte!

Für meine letzte Karte habe ich wieder Stempel von einer meiner absoluten Lieblingsfirmen verwendet: Hello Sweetums! Das Set heißt "Oceans of Encouragement" und ist super niedlich, oder?

Die Motive habe ich alle mit Memento gestempelt und mit Spectrum Noir Illustrator coloriert.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich das Tonic Shimmer Powder in "Atlantic Burst" auf Aquarellpapier verteilt. Seid damit sehr vorsichtig, denn ihr benötigt echt nicht viel Pulver! Dann habe ich meine Ranger Sprühflasche genommen und das Aquarellpapier mit Wasser besprüht. Ich habe die Farbe dann einfach etwas verlaufen lassen und habe dann mit meinem Embossing Föhn trocken geföhnt.

Den schwarzen Rahmen habe ich mit 2 verschiedenen Stanzen gemacht. Da meine Szene sehr voll ist, habe ich einen kleinen Text gesucht, den ich mit VersaMark gestempelt und mit WOW Embossing Powder in "Opaque Bright White Super Fine" embosst habe.

PENGUIN PALACE - Christmas cards

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing 3 Christmas Cards with Cuddly Sheep's Season's Greetings stamps and ccordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts from Penguin Palace.

For all cards I have matched my ink blending with the colors of the card panels. I used Distress Ink (for the 2 left cards) and Distress Oxide (for the right card).

I stamped out the images on Neenah cardstock and colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

The sentiments are stamped with VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder.

PENGUIN PALACE - Early Christmas card

Today I'm sharing a Christmas card for Penguin Palace. It's never too early for Christmas cards! ;-) My card featuring the Home Sweet Home stand-alone die and the Cuddly Sheep's Season's Greetings stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I die cut the Home Sweet Home. I used different paper from Penguin Palace for the house:

The Sandstone Series - Hot Lips
The Sandstone Series - Cool Granite
Elegant Backwash

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I ink blended chipped sapphire and blueprint sketch Distress Oxide ink for the sky in the background. I added stars with a white gel pen.

PENGUIN PALACE - PING ME ANYTIME

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a card with Penguin Palace stamps and dies! My card features the Penguin Agenda stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I die cut watercolor cardstock with Cross Stitched and Dots Small Rectangle Overlays. Then I stamped out the images with Archival and did some loose watercoloring with Gansai Tambi watercolors.

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images for the front of my card. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers and TriBlend markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

Then I cut piece of vellum. I stamped the sentiments with VersaMark and embossed them with WOW embossing powder.

I glued the watercolored card panel onto my card base. Next I glued the penguins with the accessoires onto the vellum. For adhering the vellum, I used foam tape which I put on the back of the penguins.

Finished my card by adding some embellishments.

PENGUIN PALACE - COFFEE LOVER

Today I'm sharing another card with stamps from the recent Penguin Palace release. My card features the Rabbit Cafe stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I cut my card base and a white card panel. I took the card panel and masked it below. Then I ink blended worn lipstick and scattered straw Distress Oxide ink. I splatterd some Perfect Pearls Spray onto the ink blended card base and dried them with my heat tool.

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I stamped the beautiful sentiment with VersaMark and embossed it with embossing powder.

To finish off, I glued the images onto my card panel.

PENGUIN PALACE STAMPS - Birthday Card with Shimmer Cardstock

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card with Penguin Palace Stamps with you! I used the Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlay Die, Let's Celebrate Stand-Alone Die and Mysterious Galaxy - Medium Weight Premium Cardstock.

First I ink blended Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of paper. Next I die cut the large Cross Stitched and Dots Rectangle Overlay from my ink blended paper.

I also die cut the rectangle overlay from a piece of the Mysterious Galaxy cardstock. Then I die cut the Let's Celebrate Stand-Alone Die from this piece of cardstock. I assembled a card base and the two die cutted panels.

I die cut some alphabet dies to spell out "YAY" from the Mysterious Galaxy cardstock. For this I die cut each alphabet die five times and glued them together for more dimension.

Finished my card by drimming down a stripe of this gorgeous cardstock. I stamped out the sentiment "Happy Birthday!!" from the It's Your Day stamp set with VersaMark and embossed it with white embossing powder.
