PENGUIN PALACE - Fun Adventure

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a new card for Penguin Palace. My card featuring the Fun Adventure stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I cut my card base and my card panel. I masked the background and ink blended tumbled glass, tattered rose, worn lipstick and scattered straw Distress Oxide ink.

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers and TriBlend markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

Then I adhered the images with foam tape.

To finish off, I stamped the sentiment with Inkon3 ink.

DT Cards und More - Squeak Cheeks

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Ich bin ein großer Fan von Hello Sweetums, daher zeige ich auch heute wieder eine Karte mit den tollen Stempeln. Mein verwendetes Stempelset ist von dem neuesten Release: "Squeak Cheeks"

Als erstes habe ich die Motive mit Memento gestempelt und mit Spectrum Noir coloriert. Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Oxide in Scattered Straw und Tumbled Glass.

Nachdem ich die Motive  mit Foamtape aufgeklebt habe, habe ich noch Akzente mit ein paar Nuvo Drops gesetzt.

PENGUIN PALACE - Early Christmas card

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a Christmas card for Penguin Palace. It's never too early for Christmas cards! ;-) My card featuring the Home Sweet Home stand-alone die and the Cuddly Sheep's Season's Greetings stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I die cut the Home Sweet Home. I used different paper from Penguin Palace for the house:

The Sandstone Series - Hot Lips
The Sandstone Series - Cool Granite
Elegant Backwash

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I ink blended chipped sapphire and blueprint sketch Distress Oxide ink for the sky in the background. I added stars with a white gel pen.

PENGUIN PALACE - PING ME ANYTIME

Today I'm sharing a card with Penguin Palace stamps and dies! My card features the Penguin Agenda stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I die cut watercolor cardstock with Cross Stitched and Dots Small Rectangle Overlays. Then I stamped out the images with Archival and did some loose watercoloring with Gansai Tambi watercolors.

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images for the front of my card. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers and TriBlend markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

Then I cut piece of vellum. I stamped the sentiments with VersaMark and embossed them with WOW embossing powder.

I glued the watercolored card panel onto my card base. Next I glued the penguins with the accessoires onto the vellum. For adhering the vellum, I used foam tape which I put on the back of the penguins.

Finished my card by adding some embellishments.

DT Cards und More - You're Flippin' Awesome

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Ich habe heute eine One Layer Card mit dem Stempelset Seas the Day von Hello Sweetums für euch! Ihr findet meinen Beitrag auch auf dem Cards und More Blog! Ich zeige euch in ein paar Bildern, wie ich die Karte gemacht habe!

Und los geht's!

Als erstes habe ich meine Szene mit Memento auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Um Motive in den Vordergrund eines anderen Motivs zu stempeln, habe ich zuerst das Motiv gestempelt, das in den Vordergrund sollte. Dann habe ich das gleiche Motiv nochmals auf Maskierpapier (ich benutze dafür ablösbares Din A4 Etikettenpapier), ausgeschnitten und auf das gestempelte geklebt. Dann habe ich das Motiv im Hintergrund gestempelt.

Nachdem meine Szene fertig gestempelt war, habe ich für alle Masks angefertig und sauber aufgeklebt.

Als nächstes habe ich Distress Oxides in Tea Dye, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon und Cracked Pistachio verblendet. Für den Sandboden habe ich den Drifts&Hills Stencil und für die einfallenden Lichtreflektionen (mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass) die Ray of Light Stencil - beide von My Favorite Things - verwendet.

Mit meiner Sprühflasche habe ich den Hintergrund mit Wassertropfen versehen, die ich nach ein paar Sekunden mit einem Küchenpapier wieder aufgenommen habe. Bevor ich die Masks abgezogen habe, habe ich den Hintergrund vollständig mit meinem Embossing Tool trocken gefönt.

Das Abziehen der Masks ist total magisch! Ich liebe das!! Ich habe euch das bei einer Meerjungfrau gefilmt:

Nun musste ich die Karte noch colorieren. Ich habe dafür meine Spectrum Noir Markers verwendet, Wenn ihr Fragen nach Colorcombos habt, dann stellt sie einfach in einem Kommentar!

Im Video seht ihr, dass die Masks teilweise nicht ganz exakt waren sondern etwas über den gestempelten Rand gestanden sind. Das sieht man dann an weißen Rändern. Doch da gibt es einen einfachen Tipp! Nehmt nach dem Colorieren einen schwarzen Fineliner (z.B. von Memento) und bessert das aus. Schon sieht man das nicht mehr! ;-)

Today I'm sharing another card with stamps from the recent Penguin Palace release. My card features the Rabbit Cafe stamp set and coordinating
Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First I cut my card base and a white card panel. I took the card panel and masked it below. Then I ink blended worn lipstick and scattered straw Distress Oxide ink. I splatterd some Perfect Pearls Spray onto the ink blended card base and dried them with my heat tool.

Next I took Neenah cardstock and stamped out the images. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I stamped the beautiful sentiment with VersaMark and embossed it with embossing powder.

To finish off, I glued the images onto my card panel.
