Pop-up box with Penguin Palace

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a fun pop-up box with the new The More We Get Together stamps and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts from Penguin Palace.

I started with the Pop Up Box die from Lawn Fawn and die cut the pieces for the Pop Up Box. I removed the front flap with a cutter and cut a window in the front of the box. Then, I adhered a piece of acetate behind the window.

Next, I stamped out my images on Neenah cardstock, cut them out with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts and colored them in with my Copics. I added highlight with a white gel pen.

Then, I assembled my pop up box and created my scene. I had the idea that the cat swims around in an inflatable fish on the sea.

BOX CARD with Create a Smile stamps&dies

ich habe eine "box card" für eine 12-Jährige gemacht. Heute Nachmittag konnte ich sie überreichen und sie kam mega gut an. :-)

Das Pink kommt auf den Bildern nicht ganz so raus wie in Wirklichkeit. Für alle, die es interessiert: ich habe Distress Oxide Ink in der Farbe "Worn Lipstick" verwendet. Ich wollte das pinke Papier dann mit Perfect Pearls besprühen. Irgendwie ist der Zerstäuber aber kaputt, daher sind die Tropfen etwas unkoordiniert auf dem Papier gelandet. Egal - glitzern tut's trotzdem. Jetzt aber die Bilder...Achtung, es sind ein paar. ;-)

Ich habe noch ein special Effekt eingebaut: das hintere Einhorn mit den Flügeln kann tatsächlich fliegen. ;-)

Was man auf den Bildern leider überhaupt nicht erkennen kann: über colorierte Mähne, Schweif und Horn bin ich jeweils noch mit Wink of Stella drüber gegangen, sodass diese auch glitzern.

Mehr Kitsch geht glaub kaum. ;-) Ich hatte aber echt großen Spaß an dieser box card, auch wenn sie viel Zeit gekostet hat!
